Yes me!
No!
Are you gonna tell Sqad ?!
No. Our first date was like pulling teeth - I went home and drank a whole bottle of wine and never thought I'd see him again.
No.

Anyway, I am my other half's better half :-D
funny enough Nom i've been doing that for over 20 years ;-)
But I wuvs him now, Volty.

6 weeks into our relationship I had a breast cancer scare and he was incredibly supportive, unlike my own mother who walked out of my life because she couldn't be arsed with it.
LOl....^^^^^^ O.K...just this once.
I was a Porter at Peterborough North station L.N.E.R as it was then, standing outside with other porters waiting for taxis to arrive.
My turn came and out came a miserable looking woman followed by this long legged beauty, with a body to die for which was the daughter aged about 17 years old.
I was called over by the mother and told to take the cases and try to get her a seat on the 11.30 to York.
" No problem, maam2 I replied and took them to a special spot on the platform and told them to wait there and i would be back.
" No she said, wait her with my daughter whilst i go and get a magazine from the bookshop."
In that short space of time, i had chatted her up, got her telephone number and told her that i would phone her on her return.
I did and i married her.....and i shouldn't have done and wouldn't if I had my time again.
family's eh x
as long as your happy thats good!
oh Sqad..you know that's not trooo !
I am happy, Volty, but my mother has now walked out of my life for the third time in 2 years. I haven't spoken with her since early November. No card at Christmas.

Next week is my birthday and her first and only grandchild is due in 13 days but she won't be in contact.

My consolation is that I'm married to an amazing man and she's married to a right w@nker - and it'll be she who ends up lonely.
i'm afraid its that old adage ...you can pick your friends but you cant pick your family.
just look forward to the little one and you have your other half x
Aww, that's sad NoM.. Not so long ago you went shopping with her and had lunch together ?? She'll be the one missing out. She's probably got a conrol freak as a partner. Theres plenty of them about...x
He is that, Patsy. However she's come into a ridiculous amount of money over the last 5 years and she now arrogantly thinks she holds all the cards and I'll go to her, cap in hand. She clearly hasn't thought things through and she'll now miss the chance to bond with the baby from birth, which can never be rectified.
We met on Waikiki Beach 43 years ago, we couldn't speak other's language ( can now) and have been together ever since.
Sounds tough NoMercy. I bet that no matter how long passes , it hurts. She's the one losing out though.
Uh oh!... Money always changes people and not always for the better. She might want/ need you one day...x
Thank you Sqad x
I met my wife in a travel agents. I was looking for a holiday and she was the last resort
^^^^^^
