My husband mentioned to me last night (as he often has before) how hot my body is at night. Not in that way lol! He said I'm like a radiator and sometimes he steers clear because I'm radiating so much heat! Anyone know if this is a sign of something ominous? All I've read on the internet says that your body temperature reduces at night, but that doesn't seem the case for me. I'm not of menopause age.
You are at least 40 years of age and the first thing that comes to mind is a hormonal problem as you enter the premenopausal period.
Nothing sinister comes to mind.
I went like that when I had a bit of menopause - when I went on holidays - (friends) we had to sleep together. One friend (who was cold rife) kept snuggling into me for the heat LOL - Her sister kept pushing me away off the bed as she too was always hot.
It wore away and sometimes I wish I had it back cos I can be pretty cold at times.
Same here!
I'm under 40, but he says I burn up and he has to sleep away from me, but to me - I feel a normal temperature!?!?!?!?! Wouldn't be so bad if I FELT hot - but I don't!
I sometimes think it's in his head lol.
I don't know why 'legal girl' has signed off. I hope she'll return. I was about to add that at nearly 70 I can still soak the bedding in sweat occasionally, thanks to the never-ending menopause. My GP doesn't believe me. Sent me for all sorts of blood tests about things that could cause it. All negative. Never asked me back to discuss the probability that I am still in the menopause (and fed-up of it!).
