Hot Sweats
10 Answers
Over the last couple of years I have been getting hot sweats in bed at night not a major problem as I am 48 so expect that. However over the last month I have been getting them a lot worse - all of a sudden I come over extremely hot getting a creeping redness coming from stomach up to chest and head for about 60 seconds and I also have a feeling of being "on a different planet" for that time, as if my brain is in a confused/out of body feeling. Then it goes as quick as it has happened. Are these classic menopausal symptoms of hot flushes. Very strange feeling.

Brain fog is a side effect of hormones too.
I had hot flushes and "baby brain" during pregnancy and, prior to that, with pretty much every menstrual cycle.
I wouldn't waste your time buying a "cure" at Holland & Barrett. Your GP can prescribe something like Clonazine or Norethisterone for the treatment of hot flushes.
