Has anyone on here suffered from this? I was diagnosed with tendonitis about 3 months ago and was given a month's supply of anti inflammatories. Was also told to sit with a bag of frozen peas for 15 minutes every 2/3 hours. Have followed GP's advice to the letter but am still in quite a lot of pain - not every day I must admin. Have also heard it can take up to 6 months to heal properly. Any more advice?

i variously on and off get bicep tendonitis, and have doe so for the last 20 years. It means that at times i cant get dressed or brush my teeth, or eat and drink comfortably.
Which tendinitis are we referring to ?

Sorry Sqad should have said it's in my right knee. Seems to be still very tender below the kneecap and I'm walking with a limp.
Thanks....assuming that the diagnosis is correct ????? then it should have cleared up weeks ago.

Had another visit to my GP yesterday and saw a locum. Slightly different diagnosis this time - he called it bursitis and is arranging for me to have an Xray later this week. Still quite painful but maybe very slightly improved.
