Walking On Tiptoes ..

I've noticed the odd adult walking about on their toes, their heels not touching the ground. Is it a medical condition?

I think Michael Portillo has a tendency to walk like that but he mainly 'remembers' not to.

How interesting, never come across nor heard of this but clearly lots of you have. Also slightly interesting there is a related question on precisely the same subject at bottom of page from 10 years ago and not a single answer mentions autism as this thread does. Sign of the times maybe?
