Never ever have trouble with my feet but about two weeks ago I had a tiny little bit of hard skin at the top of the big toe.
Was recommended to this podiatrist. Since I maybe have been to one podiatrist in my life before I don't know what to expect.
After faffing and faffing and going back to a computer to see his latest appointment and back to my feet - he said my feet were very good - started to cut my toenails which didn't need cutting as they don't grow - with the result he cut too far resulting a spot of blood spurting from the under cut toe anyway cutting a long story short. His treatment was hopeless as I am back to square one still have the hard skin and have no desire to go to another podiatrist.
This is just a little skin at the top of the toe - will those stainless removal things advertised on the TV do the job. Or what next -
Old fashioned pumice after a long soak. If it is just one spot, check your shoes as an uneven or lumpy bit inside might be rubbing the area so you are getting thicker harder skin as a protection
