I came across the video on TV last night, it was stand-alone and not from the Express. Looking for it again this morning on Google I entered the title of the OP and there are masses of information in videos of a combative nature, Kung fu and gung-ho, but only this one with the more sensible way to react.

I think in many stabbing cases the victim and perpetrator are know to each other. You might escape for the time being by running but you'd still be a target. Where could you go for safety?

Most are trying to instruct on defending in a knife fight; that stands out as being how to avoid trouble and survive. Sometimes you're not in a position to flee though.
