Just started recently. Is my liver telling me I need to reduce my drinking?

i'm not a medical man but wouldn't pain from the liver be on the right hand side?

I would be very interested to find out what this could be as I also have suffered from severe twinges under my bust to the left hand side. When it happens I can't take a full breath without severe pain. I got checked out for gall bladder problems years ago but they found nothing. It happens when I am resting, stood up or even walking but its not like a stitch. I'm not a big drinker though.

Lydia........that is no big deal and is called Costochondritis.
Depending upon if it is just pain outshout swelling ...it may have a fancy name like Bornholm's Disease or Teitze syndrome.
No treatment and nothing to worry about.

just looked up Costochondritis. Spot on sqad. I'm quite certain I haven't got an infection as I suffer Immunosuppression due to being on a biologic for R.A. and I would certainly be very ill if it was due to an infection. Thanks again. x

Sometimes i can get a trapped nerve around my rib cage (either side though) and a big, deep breath hurts a lot, but then relieves the feeling, In other words, untraps the nerve

spath when that happens do you take a big breath and feel a kind of 'pop' then you're ok?

No, it's not a pop, it's more sharp pain that slowly dulls then goes
