Well ( Jourdian2 ) I had the operation on the 17 sept and was out the next day having passed the Pee test and the Stairs test

The job itself took 2 hrs from leaving the ward and back on the ward so it wasn't long , the most pain came from the drain they put in your back but it was no problem really nothing to worry about
The second day I was up and down the ward with the help of a walker and at 1700 hrs I was out the door with no pills only a letter for the doctor to have the stiches out and the wound checked

At the moment my legs are a bit wobbly and am in a little pain but that's to be expected at my age but I think the job was worth doing
and I met some interesting people the two days I spent in hospital ,
What you need to keep your eye on is your effluent plant I had a log jam four days after leaving hospital and that was twice as bad as the operation being you are not very flexible after the operation
