Is it safe to use it inside the nose?
It's been recommended for very dry skin inside the nose which leads to frequent nose bleeds.

It depends who's recommended it, was it a medical person ?
Perfectly safe, however your symptoms do suggest that you have an irritation (for want of a better word)for which, might i suggest Naseptin cream which you can get OTT.
Sqad - OTC?
Considering where it is usually applied, it seems, to me, to be safe to put it up your nose. :-)

Tilly, it can't get on to the lungs from its usual site.

Thanks, Sqad and all :)

Well, people put vaseline up their noses without any ill effects.
It’s a lubricant rather than a moisturiser.

I’d try one of the Neutrogena range, which (in my experience) do help heal cracked skin, and wouldn’t do any harm in your nose.

For those who may have an allergy, Naseptin contains arachis (peanut oil)..
A simple saline nasal spray may be the best option if a prescription treatment like Naseptin isn't needed.
I had nose bleed problems and ended up seeing a consultant. He told me to use Vaseline.
I'm sure KY is safe to put inside your nose - just be careful what else you put up there...
