Been invited to attend a Dementia Awareness workshop at my surgery.
I do forget things.
"Where are my glasses? What didI do with that thing etc?"
Also, "You asked me that before, Dad! Don't you remember?"
No I don't!
What good would "Awareness," do?
Could I cure it or de.ay it?
A bit scary!

I'm aware of things not being as they used to be for some time now. Mentioned a particular symptom twice at the GP surgery, but no reaction. I'm assuming everything is typical old age stuff that "they" don't tell you about; and I try not to think of a future with further deterioration. Doesn't bear thinking about and would just spoil the present time.
