...that's nothing - it has been reported that Mars Bars will become extinct.
O!
The trouble is, some people (who have been petrified by reports of the consequences of the UK "crashing out" of the UK with no deal) will believe it.
Gasp!....
all french polishing will vanish over night. Viennese waltzing.....gone.
Omg, worse than I thought !!!!!
At least we won't get German Measles any more.
Or sprouts :-)
But does this mean that all the German Shepherd police dogs will be going back to Germany?
Well we could start with the lifers, which are'nt really, who have murdered and molested little children for starters. They are stealing our oxygen. We can go on from there and eradicate the rest of the low lifes who should of been introduced to sisal.
Freedom fries will abound, no doubt.

I can't cope without Parmigiano Reggiano. My Spaggy Bol will never be the same again!
No Spanish onions, no Camembert, no Brie - as for Bratwurst, forget it.
We've already nicked Brie and Camembert Jack ;))

For people who actually rely on oxygen, this seems a totally pointless piece of alarmism.

For people who actually rely on oxygen

Erm...What kind of people don't rely on oxygen?
I think the reference is to oxygen tanks used by people with breathing difficulties.
I meant oxygen for people with breathing problems of course, for which there is sometimes problems with supply !! They are the ones who could be upset by these silly predictions. I presumed that's what you meant in your post. Perhaps it was just an ironic post and I misinterpreted it. Sorry.
Yes it's all hilarious, if you aren't one of the people depending on things like oxygen and insulin.
Regarding insulin we don't make any in the UK ( excepting a tiny amount of one type used by less than 1% of diabetics) so we have to import it from Europe. The Govt claims to have contingency plans, but do they? Do I want to wait to find out given this government's track record of dishonesty? No I don't. And EVEN if they have, it will still have to pass through customs in a way that it doesn't at the moment, and the customs method for drugs was supposed to be scrapped over 5 years ago because it was dangerously slow for some types of medication (insulin needs to be temperature controlled), so lets all see if you're all still howling with laughter and cracking 'French Fancy' jokes when people you are close to are made ill, or, worse still die because of this fiasco. And people wonder why Remainers have a problem with some Brexiteers. This is nothing to laugh about, potentially we have a very real problem.
Do you seriously believe, kvalidir, that supplies of insulin into the UK will dry up should we leave the EU (properly)? What has given you this impression. Incredible as it may seem, countries from outside the EU trade with those within it, even without a trade deal in place. An example of this is UK:US. The USA is the UK's biggest single trading partner, far bigger than any EU nation including Germany and France.

If such temporary difficulties do ensue following Brexit that will be because the past 30 months have been spent by the UK government trying to find ways of remaining in the EU whilst, on paper, "leaving". Had they begun from June 2016 to prepare for a No Deal departure you would have no fears - reasonable or otherwise.
