Any Vapers Out There?

Last week, I bought a Vape ePen 3 which has cartridges that slot into the top of the pen. I have persevered with it but I keep cheating and having the occasional cigarette. This is because I don't feel that it has the same sort of 'hit' as a cigarette and I feel a bit 'lost' without my usual cigarette.

maybe I am not vaping enough to satisfy my addiction but I am worried about using it too much as I have no idea of how much I should be vaping at one sitting, if you see what I mean.

I tend to have a couple of puffs every hour or so.

Any advice from other vapers?

firstly, well done for trying.
how many fags did you moke before? perhaps you need to vape at the same frequency and duration as you smoked?

Bednobs, I smoke about 12 cigarettes a day. Far more now than I ever smoked when I was at work.

When you have a cigarette you have 25-40 drags at least, maybe have a frew more puffs than a “couple”

These are brilliant Tilly2 as I’ve said on here before. I have not had a cigarette since 2015 and I used to smoke 20 a day.

Daft questions probably, but do yours actually have nicotine in them? And do you actually inhale the 'smoke'?

If that was to me clover, all they contain is nicotine and all you are breathing out is steam. There is no smell exhaled whatsoever.

I smoke not vape but if it helps all the vapers at work stand and puff for the same amount of time as the cigarette smokers do. I'd have thought a couple of puffs woud be the same as a couple of puffs on a ciggy as far as satisfaction goes ie not enough (yet)

I am but, don’t have the tar and all the other chemicals associated with cigarettes. My chesty cough has completely gone, I can climb inclines without getting out of breath and I can sing nearly an octave higher, if I had the mind to.

20 cartomisers cost £23.00 including postage. I use on average 1 cartomiser a day.

20 packs of cigarettes say, £9.00

I really want to give up smoking. It's not the cost, it's the detriment to health I fear.

When you puff on your minicig, do you sit and enjoy doing so for five minutes or do you have a couple of puffs and then leave it alone?

I definitely enjoy smoking it and the pleasure is the same as I get from a real cigarette. However, the “hit” lasts longer than a normal cig so no, I don’t puff away all the time. The satisfaction lasts longer without the need to keep puffing.
