Nose Bleeds After High Altitude

My daughter has found she always has nosebleeds after being in a high altitude environment. Is there anything she can do or have done to limit this?
She's just returned from a week skiing, and is having nosebleeds now...she may have had a few while away too.

Go to A&E if:
-your nosebleed lasts longer than 10 to 15 minutes
-the bleeding seems excessive
-you're swallowing a large amount of blood that makes you vomit
-the bleeding started after a blow to your head
-you're feeling weak or dizzy
-you're having difficulty breathing
