the trouble with so many of these sightings, of aliens and ghosts, is they often occur when the person is in bed, they say 'i was woken by a light'... or 'I felt something in the room' - i say YOU WERE ASLEEP AND DREAMING! its a lot more plausible, but they always say 'it felt so real' and 'i was definitely awake', but lots of dreams are very real and they are called lucid dreams.

If they said they were walking along the road or at work or somewhere they can't nod off - i'd be more inclined to take them seriously.

Weeeeellllllllllll, I did see a weird thing once, a UFO (as in unidentified flying object), but couldn't say it definately was aliens ! (though there was a letter in the local paper the following week from someone who'd also seen it - so it wasn't just me). I told Mr Spudqueen, well we were in the car, he was driving, so couldn't turn round to see over his shoulder, but he still teases me about it as though I was making it up. Generally I don't tell people, when I have mentioned it to a couple of people they always end up looking at me as though they feel sorry for me and I should be in a home or something!

why not do something to ensure we didn't wake up?

if we were asleep we wouldn't know anything, so why not turn off the bright lights, be quiet, and we'd be none the wiser?

I am a sceptic of the people who make the claims, not that there is aliens - i believe in ETs - but the world is full of liars and attention-seekers - and also of people who go to sleep every night and dream!

No it is best not to tell anybody. Scientists/politicans get obsessed and will try and capture them and lock them up. They might be innocent but politicians will make out they are harmful and capture them and keep them locked up.
