where to live
0 Answers
Hi I'm new here, so don't know if this is the kinda question people ask or not!
My husband works real long hours in the city of London. We live fairly far away and he drives in everyday. What with the congestion charge, petrol, wear and tear and the biggie: not ever seeing him, I'm looking for a drastic measure. He has looked for work more loval to no avail, and besides, he does love his job, but it is driving us both crazy that he is never at home as he spends 5 hours a day travelling!
If we were to decide to move nearer the city, where would be a good place to look for housing. We have 4 kids and I'm a stay at home mom. We need relatively affordable housing and are willing ot look at a rent, but Im more interested in 'nice' areas than anything else.
So, to sum up: Where is a nice area to live that is easy comute to London (square mile) which isn't too violent/nasty/built up etc.....
Thanks in advance!
