What Can This Be ?

For a couple of days now one side of my neck , from below my left ear to under my chin, has swollen a bit and become flabby. It doesn't hurt . What could this be ? Last week I had surgery on my foot, to correct a hammer toe and bunion, so have been quite immobile and watching a lot of TV, to which I have to twist my neck a bit. I do change my position on the sofa so not twisting the same way all day, but could it be something more sinister ? I am taking Ibobufen for the pain in my foot, and omeprazol. Mnay thanks.

Well, it is certainly nothing sinister and I would just monitor the situation.
You have caught me on the way to my breakfast, but will give it more thought and if i have anything more positive to add, then i will.

Thanks Sqad for the prompt reply. I'll go and have my cup of tea now. I have an appointment on Tuesday to see my surgeon ( God , she used to go to school with my daughter ......) so will show her, but she's orthopedic, not ENT ofcourse.

I fancy that, after watching 5 episodes of Four In A Bed yesterday. Best breakfast in the world, Full English, I don't care what the international gourmets say. But I don't want a Turkey Neck :(
