Laser Eye Surgery

I know this subject has been on before but I would like some updated views. Has anyone had this done and if so, how much and where did you have it done? TIA

Don't know if this is of any help but the subject was discussed on the Radio 2 Jeremy Vine show today. I expect you can get it on the I player. I only heard part of it on my way home from work.

Listened to some discussion on the Jeremy Vine show today and what was said would certainly put me off having this done. Some quite scary side effects for some, although no doubt there are success stories too.

I wanted this done and had a free consultation with Vision Express (I had no intention of having it done with them, just wanted a guideline).

They told me I am not suitable for the treatment which saved me at least £100 consultation fee with the surgeon I would have used. It could be a starting point for you.

Mr.Sam had both eyes done years and years ago here in Spain and has never regretted it. At first I remember he wasn't comfortable driving at night, but that didn't affect us. He has to wear sunglasses when it is bright and sunny. I think we paid about 3,000 €, but may be remembering wrong. It must be at least 10 years ago.
