Total Hysterectomy.

Hi all,
After my hysteroscopy 3 weeks ago, a biopsy was sent off and unfortunately, it came back as endometrial cancer. I go into hospital early tomorrow morning for total hysterectomy.
One positive thing, I've been told it's a slow growing cancer, and provided it hasn't reached the wall of the womb, I should be ok. If it has, then I will have to have radiation treatment. I'm a little numb at the moment but feeling positive. Please wish me luck x

Eleven days in Christies Hospital in Manchester then home to be looked after by Mr BD. Six weeks later got the all clear and have not looked back since. Be positive and know we are all thinking of you. As my surgeon said "We are taking away the nursery but leaving the playground". Made us laugh anyway. Good luck x x
