Mallyh, I was reading about the 10000 steps the other day. Apparently, the advice now is to do 3 seperate sessions of 10 minutes of intense power walking.
Seemingly, the 10000 steps is just a random number with no medical significance.
I will concede though that doing 10000 steps a day, if you can manage it is a wonderful way to lose weight and tone up those muscles.
Can you slow down your treadmill a bit, until you've got used to using it?
