I have read/heard more than a couple of times that if you have long indentations on your ear lobes, you are likely to suffer a heart attack. Has anyone else heard of this? Is it fact based?

Thank you so much for that Clanad - what a great link!
All I can say is that I have such creases and I did have a massive heart attack 13 years ago...so for me it is fact-based.

I've got them too Quizmonster - really sorry to hear about your heart attck - I hope you're okay now - do you think I should mention something to my Doctor? I'm only 27 years old.
Q, glad to see you're still with us... take care of yourself...
Thanks for your kind thoughts, Laurin and C. Actually I'm as right as rain now, though - at the time apparently - it was a case of specialists coming out from behind my Intensive Care screens with doom-laden heads shaking. Hopefully, my contributions to AnswerBank show that I have not become the 'vegetable' predicted!
Laurin, it would do no harm to mention the matter to your GP, as the connection is known in the heart community. Forewarned is forearmed, as they say. Good luck.
