Dilema

I have a very good friend who is flying to back England from Spain for a family get together and then a further 3 weeks to visit friends and family. There has been a rapid increase in her area in recent days and several in her town. There is no covid 19 in Norfolk at the moment. I am due to meet her next week. I am classed as vulnerable health wise and old. Should I be cautious and not go. We are very close friends. Personally, if I was in her position I would cncel going to a area with no covid19.

No one can really say whose caution is right or not, I have a non urgent health check later this week and have dithered but decided to go anyway. The decision must be yours. I agree that your friend should think carefully too.

Thank you Mamya. Trouble is I so much want to see her. Do you think I am being over cautious? I have never been a cautious person before in fact quite the opposite. I actually think if were in her position I would postpone coming over to the UK, especially to an area which is virus free so far. She will understand and I will feel guilty,
Thanks to both of you. I have contacted my friend now and told her I won't be meeting her. My husband who is the most rational person I know has admitted that he doesn't want me to go because of my health issues and low immunity. He has never before tried to stop me doing anything. But he made my mind up today.
