gloves?

I tried googling to see if the virus can stick to mail and the answers ranged from "No" to "for a week".
Barge pole, rubber gloves.
I'm not worrying about things like that, just as I don't worry about the food in the shops. Just keep washing your hands.
I gather up the mail, deal with it and then wash my hands, isn't the recommended way?
Gloves if you are worried. Or just wash your hands after handling.
I leave it lying for a few hours, open with gloves , wash my hands .

I had figured gloves...unwrap outside...take item indoors...dispose of packaging and gloves outside.
Oh...and wash hands.
Research suggests that coronavirus can last on surfaces for up to 3 days and in the air for up to 3 hours.

If you can handle with gloves and put somewhere safe for 72 hours and then wash your hands, you have taken the maximum precaution that you should I would think.

LADYCG...it's a shrinkwrapped( I think) box of dog food trays. I thought if I remove the outer wrapping...after the 3 hours? It should be ok? Of course it may be in the obligatory Amazon cardboard also.
I just bring them in, open them and wash my hands, cardboard box goes into recycling before that. I don't have anyone else to worry about.

Also...I live in a maisonette, so its either outside or in. There isn't a "safe place".
lol, there's nowhere to hide... open with gloves on, or without and wash your hands afterwards.
And then wash the gloves jno? Or just don't touch them for a few days?
ideally, just have disposable gloves around, though I realise not many people will have. We've got some that I use for gardening. By all means give them a scrub down after use

Lol...so wash hands with gloves on...then wash with gloves off. Spray gloves with anti bac...just in case.
spray the entire house with bleach, cover with clingfilm and leave it for 12 weeks :-)

My OCD hasn't kicked in yet. We will all suffer with it soon enough. ;)
