Heart Defect

my sister has heart defect, and occasionally suffers from 'dizzy spells', and she only found about the defect when she was taken to hospital when suffering from an allergic reaction.

could i hav it as well?

and could i die from it?

I'm wondering whether your sister might have the same thing as me? I have Wolfe Parkinson White, which is an extra electrical connection in the heart. This was only diagnosed 2 years ago & I was told I would have been born with it. I've never fainted, but can sometimes feel light headed when I get the abnormal heartbeats. I am due to go into Harefield Hospital on 15 Dec for an ablation procedure, so hopefully this will cure it.

I'm sure your sister will be fine & doubt whether you have the same as her - but if you are concerned, perhaps you could have a chat with your GP.
