Does anyone have one of those fancy-malancy dyson hairdryers? I fancy trying one but need to ask a question about it first.

Bednobs, have a look at the good housekeeping review of it. It gets highly rated but there are also some downsides to it which you may find interesting.

APG, there's not even a hint of the 'emperor's new clothes' about it. I think someone who's had over 30 years of battling with her hair has had enough experience to know which product, piece of equipment, works best for her. The dryer would be completely wasted on me, my mop is fine with just a towel.

My optician has the Dyson fan which is supposed to be silent. It is just as noisy as my cheap fans
