I am a T2 diabetic and try to have a sensible regime. Breakfast at 9am, lunch at 1pm then at 4.30, we have a cup of tea and a plain biscuit before evening meat at 7pm. Quite often, maybe once a week, I start to feel sick after my 4.30 cup of tea. I feel so bad I cannot eat my 7pm meal, which is a worry as I need to watch my blood sugars. Why should I feel sick at the same time?

Do you take your sugars at that time?
Maybe it is caused by the tea.Give it a miss for a couple of days and see if it makes a difference.
What medication are you taking and what are your blood sugar levels after tea?
It doesn'tsound a big deal and it may well be be that the tea and biscuit is slow to move out of your stomach although I have no idea why it should be must once a week.
It could be whatever you had for lunch on that day?
