Question Author
it does also happen in the day time,
Does it happen every night?
Question Author
it does, and some days too.
I'd be interested to know what causes it. It happens to me but not every night and never during the day.

My BP is quite low.
Question Author
my BP is high, though not as high as it had been.
i am veering towards either thyroid problems or diabetes. I have to ring the doctor this morning about something else and will mention it,
Have you considered asking your doctor instead of random strangers on the Web ?
Yes, he might know something about that.
Question Author
its what i already put, but there is sqad who often gives medical advice to people on here.
AZ - It's a Q&A site and people have their own experiences.

I wondered about diabetes as lately I suddenly crave sugar and feel a tad a faint. Looks more likely that I've skipped a meal, haven't drank enough and my blood pressure drops quickly.
Question Author
i have also craved sugar, in so far as buying coca cola, though not that often. but i do have demerara sugar in my coffee, which is up to about 4-5 cups a day..
In civilized countries random strangers are not allowed to give "medical advice".
But if the local witch-doctor is your choice ...
I'm sitting with a glass of coke now :-) I do make it last though as I top it with ice constantly. I only have 1 or two coffees a day.

How much water do you drink?
You can get medical advice on a Google search. I believe Google is international.
Craving sugar isn’t a sign of diabetes.
Question Author
vagus, i know, but there are other problems i have been facing not just this sweating. If i could pin point it, i might go some way to be back to a normal life.
True. You can get "medical advice" anywhere. However, this was not a Google search, was it?
Anyway, more experts are chiming in & will soon get you sorted.

Ok emmie, I was just pointing out that sugar craving is not a sign of diabetes, I have no idea about your other problems.
Question Author
i'm overweight, have constant bowel problems, and irregular heartbeat... all can be dealt with if this was indeed a wayward thyroid problem...
Are you still losing weight?
