I've no cough. Could the orhers be symptoms of the virus? I'll go to the local hospital tomorrow and ask to be tested.

APG - I'm over 70 and have had 2 children and never have I been moved to buy a thermometer - I know when/if I have a fever and knew when my children had. Obsessive temperature-taking with a thermometer is pointless and sends hypochondriacs scurrying to the doctor.
If you suspect you have covid (which is what this thread is about) then you shouldn't just rock up at A and E if you only have a temperature.
// I know when/if I have a fever and knew when my children had.//

excuse me - if you had no thermometer how did you know they were febrile ?

Febrile by the way is not feeling off or oodgy-woodgy or "you know - hot!" it is a core temperature above 37
(37.5 in children) - - do tell - - necromancy? runes? throwing three dice?
PP - by putting the back of my hand on their head - if it felt hot enough to fry an egg they had a fever. Never failed.
PP but your comment (and several others) is off topic. The guidance says if the person feels hot to the touch then they should get a test....no that's not state of the art medicine but it is quick, simple and needs no equipment.
How are u feeling sandy?
Even with the constant advice over the last 6 months, it just don't get through to some folk, such as, turn up at A&E. (No you don't,) if you believe you may have the virus.

I think I'm on the mend. The symptoms mentioned in my original post have mostly disappeared. Still a bit of weakness, though.
pleased to hear it, sandyRoe. Maybe a mild fever of some sort?
Glad you're on the mend.
Feedback much appreciated.
