19 Answers
Thirty two days ago I had a Triple Bypass and an Aorta valve replaced and being 88 yrs old it set me back and today to top it off a sodden tooth filling came out leaving the tooth a little bit delicate But looking into getting it fixed is a another thing ,I have an appointment Monday ,well not an appointment as such I've got to be there at eight in the morning to see if he can find time to look at it But looking it up on the web I don't think he will touch it apart from a temporary filling without using the needle but that will do , I didn't know your teeth was so dangerous to your heart until today
I'm posting this today as its one of those low days you get after heart operations they said you get , It was that bl,,,,dy tooth that did it , and the wait till Monday to see what can be done
There I feel better already
All the best to you all

"yes baldric is correct you need dental treatment to avoid infection of your prostheses"
Correct me if I am wrong but Baldwin DIDNT say that,he said that he had to have a prosthesis BECAUSE of the infection.
Once you have the prosthesis then antibiotics for routine dental work is NOT required.
If I have mistaken your comments then please forgive me and comment further.

Mr. J2 had a triple bypass in 2000 and, with check-ups and tweaks to medication, is completely fine now; although 3 years ago he had to have a few days in hospital after arrythmia started up overnight (he didn't bother waking me, of course). He was warned by his doctor in France to take care of his teeth as there was a connection between teeth and heart. He hates dentists, however, so he doesn't go...... we did have words about this, but ..... :(
Hope your tooth is soon fixed and you'll cheer-up. :)
