I had my first injection into my eye on, Thursday. I was terrified but it was actually a piece of cake!!
The numbing gel worked really I only felt a slight pressure on my eyeball as it went in.
My eye was a bit itchy during the evening but the next day, felt fine.
I have to have three more injections over the next three months, so fingers crossed.

Thank you, guys.

I’ve also given my permission for the photographs of my eye over the next three months are going to be sent to Australia, (anonymously) to help in research into the condition.
Thanks for the update, research is greatly needed. The dry kind which I have is not treatable so I will lose my central vision. Thankfully yours was caught early for the injections to work.
I have had nine of these eye injections - three lots of three over a period of time. I was also terrified but all the treatments went well.

Wet or Dry, I have WMD in my right eye, only difference it has made is I now need reading glasses.
I just see my optician. Blurring in left eye.
But its about number ten on my list, and most days I am not well enough, or feeling like going out.
Daft bit cavalier.
Great news chrissa .
