urethral pain

Hi - I have urethral pain, rather like the feeling you get when you begin with cystitis. I have no infection and have had investigations which did not show anything. It is quite distressing and has been going on for year now. Has anybody else ever suffered with this? And if so, have you got any advice?

Have you switched soaps in the bath or laundry? I wonder if you are having some sort of reaction to that, or perhaps something you are drinking, something acidic perhaps.

I would get a second medical opinion.
