Is The Regular Flu Jab Still Available?

About this time of year I usually get a letter from my GP asking me to make an appointment for a flu jab. Are they available yet?

Round me (and in places where I have friends) they were a little late arriving and uptake has been much bigger probabably due to the covid thing. If you want to get one you need to start finding one NOW. I checked Boots website yesterday and they still aren't offering appointments.
The flu jag was taken over by the local health board because it was thought to be a big job this year with covid and more people wanting it , well they could not have made a bigger mess of it if they tried. The youngest people got it first and all the usual places you usually get it ran out of stock . Would have been better leaving well alone .
yes in the UK this year people 50 and up can have it free (well NHS paid for) for the first time. Healthy under 50s had to buy theirs as usual so I am not sure how the young people got theirs first? Bodeker do you live in the UK? So far as I am aware in the UK over 65's get a different vaccine from the under 65s so I am not sure how the "young people getting it first" would affect us old'uns anyway.
Do you have an Asda near you Sandy. I got mine at my local one rather than queue round the block at the doctors.
