A group of doctors at the University of Southampton recently claimed to have the first scientific evidence of life after death. They spent a year studying people who had been resuscitated after being clinically dead. Some talked about recalled emotions and visions they'd experienced while "dead". Some remembered feelings of peace and joy, heightened senses, seeing a bright light, entering another world, and encountering a mystical being or deceased relative. There was no 'scientific' reason for these experiences.

Dunno, but there was a bit of graffiti popular in Belfast in the 80s, "Is there life before death?" And although I'd like to believe the previous answer, oxygen-deprivation of the brain has been known to induce similar hallucinations.

Once your dead, your finished. the belief of life after death is only an emotional state. religon can be comforting and helpful to keep socity in check but it's promise of another life is the only barging chip it has, so do your good deeds to fellow mon now, look after the envionment as this this is your last chance.

well, there was this idea that einstein had...it was that energy is indestructable. i think that all living beings have energy in them. there is something that keeps my heart going, neurotransmitters igniting electrical impulses. i know only a very small amount about such razzmatazz but it seems to me that if energy is never extinguished but only changes form, then when we expire we are changing form. really, though. and this is a secret...i saw a ghost once. also, i heard that at the moment of death the human body loses about a quarter ounce of weight. and besides, i'm just not ready to accept that one day i will cease to exist. it is too much for me to deal with. that's all.

You are presuming you are your body and once that is gone that's it??? You are not your body. Your body is merely the vehicle, you the eternal soul travels in. When your body is no longer useful you simply leave it and take another (commonly known as reincarnation). At the time the mother "feels" the baby kicking is when the soul enters the womb. How many times you reincarnate depends on your "part", but the maximum is 84 births. there is only one god.........ALLAH........ there is heaven an hell which ALLAH created..... there is a reson for us being alive..... to worship ALLAH....... there is life atr death.... as this life is onnly a minute compared to the after life which is never ending never ending..... pleasure... much beyond a human can even imagine...... whch sum peple in heaven will get...... never ending pain... much beyond wht a human can imagine.. this is wht peple ALLAH.... choses to go to hell...... these are the non belivers of ISLAM and peace sinners etc basically.. there is a after life... which is eteranl have a nice day
