Dislocated Pinky
6 Answers
A few weeks ago my little finger just clicked, and it’s hurt ever since. This is quite common for me as all my joints tend to go out of joint very easily. My physio suggested I strap it to the finger next to it, which I have done. But the main middle joint still really hurts when I bend my finger. It worries me that it went out of Joints, and all I’ve done is type it. Obviously, I can’t just go to the doctors and get them to look at it at the moment. I can move it without pain, I just can’t bend it. Any advice?

I maybe wrong.
It is highly unlikely that it would still be dislocated after several weeks, it could be, but you would have been able to have "manoeuvred " it back yourself. living with EDS.
I would suggest that you take anti inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen 400mgms as and when necessary or Paracetamol 1,000mgms again,as and when necessary.
It does sound as though you are developing an arthritis in that joint.
Reassess the situation in about 6 weeks time.
