We celebrate our wedding anniversary in September but that's different. I still don't expect a card, though I often think I could do with a medal.... :-)
We don't send cards either , we do however get them to remind us :0)))
I usually have an hangover the day after Valentines day so can never remember it.
We don't even buy each other birthday or xmas presents.

On my birthday he asked me what I'd bought myself :-)
We will send each other a card and get each other a present, but I would never go out for some rubbish overpriced "Valentines Day Set Menu"
Dave was very romantic and spent ages finding me a card with just the right words, no presents. I used to make him a card, he keep every one. I didnt. He always had a steak and chips dinner, with a nice red and homemade crumble and custard, God that man loved custard, when he died the Birds share price plummeted.I

We didn't do much with our anniversary, or birthdays unless we could afford to get away for a few days.

I had a dodgy Valentine's day when I was much younger, florists delivery to my office, one red rose, a dozen red roses , one husband two affairs, how to say thank you and who to. Those were the days Luckily the husband gave me a bunch of flowers when he picked me up from work.
