Since wives often outlive their husbands there must be any number of widows who used to dance and would welcome the opportunity of finding a new dance partner. You'll want someone local so possibly put an advert in the personal column of your local paper (if you can't hook up with someone taking lessons at the same time as you).

davebro, beware of using the phrase "hook up" It doesn't mean simply dancing together!

my friend met a man about 2 years ago at a dancing class - they have now moved in together - both are about 72 or 73. Happy as larry and as he has time shares - before the Covid - they were travelling everywhere. So you may get a forever pal.
