Update On Leg And Back Pain

Hi there. I am in 75mg of pregabalin for suspected nerve pain in my lower back and thigh as well as Cocodamol 30/500mg I have cut down only 2 x 2 a day instead of 8. I went for my annual diabetes check today a whole lot of blood taken. They check thyroid kidney LFT and other things as well. I wouldn't normally worry. I went at 1240 and at 615pm when I was in the loo I got a missed call from my local NHS Tayside. I phoned it back but it does not take incoming calls. I am really hoping it is to offer me a Covid-19 vaccine as they are about to start under 50s with health conditions. Could thyroid or kidney problems give severe thigh pain? I had an MRI scan last year showed up bulging discs L5 and L6 but otherwise OK.

Thyroid problems would not account for your symptoms.
Kidney problems do cause back pain, but certainly not 5h3 type of pain that you are describing.
Let's see what the tests show up eh!
