Why Most Countries Have Suspended Oxford Vaccine And Uk Gov Is Still Forging Ahead With The Vaccine?
84 Answers
Guardian just reported more deaths due to the vaccine and the UK gov thinks the British lives are are worthless compared with other nations?
I know the UK gov still argues the deaths vs the benefits are far greater in benefits. But I think the real benefits is the vaccine and the gov need to back the vaccine even its in question.
Are all other countries too stupid to suspend the vaccine or the UK gov putting lives at risk for the older age as they no longer a contributor to the society?
Any thoughts and view?

I don't mind having a card or proof, but it's one thing to need it for a holiday abroad as a choice. My friend with a needle phobia has just had the vaccine for that reason. But, if we start requiring it for jobs, normal everyday lives and putting restrictions on people, that's a different scale.
Am not sure why this as changed into a discussion on covid passports

if the law decides there's a case to answer, who'd cop for it - the vaccine makers, the regulatory body that declared it safe, the government authority that rolled it out, the individual that administered it........ or all of the above?

burlyshirley "And again, headline news on the radio this morning, blood clots and the A-Z vaccine in this country. Yes maybe only a handful have had blood clots, but for that handful, it is an out and out disaster. I say again, I am glad I didn't have the A-Z and will not accept it in the future."
were you aware that covid itself seems to cause an increase in csvt?

Vulcan.......yes, I can.
A stroke is caused by a clot in the arteries of the brain....I.e it is on the arterial side supplying blood to the brain and in this group there is no association with the vaccine.
CVST: also in the brain, but on the venous side are "lakes" of blood which are preparing blood tobereturned to the heart, on of which is called the cavernous sinus.
If these boys clog up, then it is a big deal but since the era of antibiotics circa 1940,s they have become rare......very rare.
Now, since the Covid vaccination, they have been showing up again....still rare, but now in the frame.
That is the difference.

Right in the early stages of Covid it emerged that blood clots and deaths from blood clots were happening in many of the serious cases. This would worry me far more than the AZ vaccine may be responsible for a few cases and a miniscule percentage of deaths. And they are now doing further research. I will have my second jab in two weeks without worrying and , believe me, I suffer from acute anxiety!

well spotted mooshie - Je pense qu'il est une plainte ouverte
open complaint - we dont have them, as this is full on Napoleonic Code. You can also tack on a civil complaint ( parti civile) to a criminal charge - we dont do that either

I was struck by the irony ....

I have just made the connection! I knew of a person, he was a patient of mine, back in the early 70's who had one. He was out on a trawler and had toothache due to an abcess. He carried on working and the infection tracked up his jaw and he had a stroke. He was one of the fortunate ones who made a good recovery, not good enough to go back to sea, but he had been the cook so retrained as a chef. Its why I don't play silly devils with toothache or sinusitis
