Zip-Up Cast Protector

Does anyone sell ZIP-up cast protectors?

With one false leg, I’m finding it a major problem getting a conventional pull-on protector over the ‘good’ leg, but a zip would help.

if you are showering sitting down, be careful where you direct the shower too. Bin bag is not ideal as sealing it at the top is tricky

allen, have a look on eBay for fleece wellington boot liners. An alternative is to seek out a local seamstress to hand make you exactly what you need.

I kneel (on bit of leg) sit (on bum).

I’d be fixing the cut-to-size bin bag while seated on the toilet.

Can you get some waterproof tape to seal the bin bag. We used to protect the edges of childrens' hip casts with this around the edges to prevent soiling

Allen do your council have an Adult Social Care department? Alternatively the District nurse or your GP should have a contact number of an organisation that can provide you with some surport.

I agree Tony. Allen you could contact social work dept. elderly services, and asked to be assessed for assistance for you and Mrs.
