"Woke" is a ridiculous word- and I haven't yet seen a single person on AB, that is couldn't be applied to, by somebody else... just like snowflake or virtue signaller. Those are just name-calling, really (and as far as I'm aware, I haven't personally been called any of them... but I've seen it to others).

Snowflake is one that makes me laugh Pixie. I get called a snowflake if I disagree with something the right like, but when people whine about too many black faces or gay couples on tv, or footballers taking the knee, that's okay. Well, it's the same with "virtue signalling". To me that indicates that you are supporting a cause (or similar) solely because it makes you look good. It never enters the mind of someone using that term that you may actually believe in whatever it is you say, and frankly, even if it does, they ignore it because it's easier to insult the person in question.
