Bretaris Gunuait Inhalor

Does anyone here use this for COPD? My relative sometimes has problems making it 'click' when he uses it, meaning the dose isn't administered. Usually he can do it easily.
He is convinced that it sometimes jams especially as he can do it immediately after with his second (spare) device.
I can find nothing on the web about jamming inhalors so any help is welcome

That's the inhaler, danny - it does make a mechanical click to 'turn it on' and then the little display goes green to show it is ready to use. During use it gives a loud click when the medicine has been released and the display goes red - you need to give a short, deep suck to work it. This is where the problem is. He sucks like billy-oh and nothing happens. Does the same with the other inhaler and it works.
Then a few days later that one 'jams'. We can't work out if it does jam or if he is not sucking hard enough. I tried it once but I had a bad reaction to it so I'm doing that again!
If it is jamming I will ask his doctor to prescribe more spares.
