I couldn't do it nor would I try.
The theoretical approach to the management and the practical management of this condition are quite different in my opinion.
Most diabetics just don't want to know or can't understand the basics but others seem to be completely au fait with the disorder equal to any diabetic nurse or GP .

I couldn't do it either sqad...and there's enough evidence that a very low carb approach is equally helpful.
I know that if I was told I had, or could develop diabetes...I'd do everything I could to manage the condition, and hopefully avoid medication. But plenty of people can't/won't.

I eat a low calorie diet to manage my diet but do eat carbs - no low enough to qualify as a 'low carb diet' but I do restrict the amount of carbs I eat.
I reversed my T2D that way and could not have managed a liquid diet. My diet is one that I can eat for the rest of my life, is all 'normal' food and fits in with the family and eating out.
We are all different and I'm sure Professor Taylor's methods are perfect for many.

I have been type 2 Diabetic for 28 years. Started on diet, then tablets and now tablets and Insulin. I am generally ok. Watch what I eat and just get on with it. After all these years I do have slight eye problems but I attend a Diabetic eye screening clinic run by the NHS.
I will just add that my Father was Diabetic and so is my son. Hereditary?
