Misanthropic Or A Miserable Curmudgeon?

Are you a misanthrope? I have trouble tolerating the vast amounts of stupidity that abounds in our media, government, social services, and general population. It’s like most people sleep walk through their lives in a haze, and never wake up. We’ve neglected the spiritual side of our nature in favour of the material. We destroy our environment and wonder who will make things better. We much prefer watching the telly, anything to distract from sensible, logical, thought about what we are doing to ourselves and others.

What do you expect from people? How can people be spiritual when they have to work and have deadlines to meet.

Today my OH drove for 6 hours to get to work and back and has to do a days physical work on top of that. Where can he fit in spiritual? People are tired.

Dunno how old you are David but now in my 70s I console myself with the thought that my race is almost run & it will be others who have to deal with all the ***. Don't worry, be happy.
