I still don't know how to get them as I cannot find the website. All the websites I get to are to do with the Atkins diet - the Atkinson Dead Sea Patches have nothing to do with the high protein low carb diet !! HELP!

If they were serious, effective and not another Equiba-style operation, I imagine they would have a website. Therefore I would treat this whole thing with extreme scepticism. Or am I just being cynical about a flyer-led marketing campaign that promises extraordinary results for little effort on your part -- except laying out the cash...?

I have just obtained the Dead Sea Patches and will see if they really work. I have done some research into the active ingredients and there appears to be some evidence that it can increase metabolic rates through treating the thyroid. It remains to be seen. Still sceptical - no website

I am also from Australia and also recieved the info in the mail yesterday.

I am very tempted to try them, my brother is a natropath and says that the active ingredient works well. It is only that I don't know the company and it is all Singapore based.

I am Sydney based and was thinking of ordering 1 mth, if you are local and interested, would you like to split 2 mths supply - much cheaper.

There are lots of negative items out on the web about the advertising of this company - but nothing about the results or clinical tests.  If you were brave enough to part witht he money and get the patches DID THEY WORK?

Atkinson's dead sea fat-burning slimming patch does not work at all.  I have used it for 2 weeks and nothing happened.  The advertising is very cunning.  Firstly, the flyer said you could lose up to 6 kgs a week without diet and exercise.  Once you have ordered the patch, it came with another flyer saying that it could only work with diet and exercise.  I have been on a diet and exercise everyday for months so I can't see that I have to exercise more or change to a stricter diet.  I used the patch for 2 weeks, not a single kg has been lost.  I have been thinking to ask for a refund as the flyer promised, but because this product is from overseas, Singapore, so it doesn't look optimistic.

Hello all , well my wife was keen on this Dr. Atkins 'Dead Sea Patches' to help her lose wieght and asked me dig into it a little for her. Here are my findings on the subject and 'good doctor' found in as little as 10 mins googling and searching.Whilst the ingredients(though only one was listed, that being Kelp) are indeed found to be beneficial to a persons health and metabolic process , i would take issue with the pamphlets highly dubious claims that once using these patches , that absolutely no special diet or exercise need be undertaken by the user! This of course flies in the face of common sense and both medical and scientific fact!

During my quick investigation into this i found the following item.

Complaint (misleading) from a UK consumer to the UK SRO, ASA, concerning a direct mailing from the Netherlands featuring slimming products, �The Atkinson Dead Sea Patches�.  The mailing  offered slimming patches, guaranteed to make the user lose 28 pounds in 4 weeks, and stay that way for the rest of his or her life, or their money back.  The complainant considered the claims misleading and doubted their veracity.  The ASA transferred the case to the Dutch SRO, SRC, according to the cross-border procedure.  The SRC found the advertisement to contravene  art. 7 (misleadingness) of the Dutch Advertising Code, and the advertiser was instructed not to use the advertisement again.  Complaint upheld, case closed.
