I’d really love everyone’s thoughts. Now that it appears we are ‘living with’ covid, it still seems to me that nothing has changed. I still rarely see anyone, don’t go anywhere, it’s as though I’m still in lockdown. Yet, I believe the world is back to normal out there. What are you currently doing? Seeing people outside? Going to pubs inside? Wearing a mask or not? It would be very interesting to know what everyone else is doing right now in the current situation (35k cases per day, immunity from vaccines waning, no gov rules).

Bloody predictive text.

Not the ridiculous new normal.

And they’re, not their.

None!
Have I killed anyone in the last 18 months, I dont think so...
Have they killed me????
Still taking every precaution that we can. Only caller we have had since lockdown started was our plumber when we had water dripping off a ceiling light, but masks were worn and we certainly social distanced.

OH has had another cancer diagnosed and is very vulnerable. We have had so many hospital appointments through lockdown I have lost count.

I only go out to do shopping and I keep that to a minimum. My local shops request that we still wear masks if possible and I am more than happy so to do.

Last Christmas I received an expensive voucher for Waitrose - I only cashed it in last week.

I don't care what other people say or think of me for continuing to be cautious. It is my choice.

And nor you should care, choux, as it is indeed your choice.
We are still careful and live in a rural area where the vast majority, young and old alike, seem to have a lot of respect for others. We wear masks in shops and inside public places unless we are seated. Basically not acting any different than we have been over the last 18 months or so.
We are definitely not hiding away, Twice vaccinated and we strongly believe we had Covid when it first hit . Husband was sent to A And E with all Covid symptoms and I ended up with chest infection. If we lived in a crowded area we would be more wary, but like others on this thread we don't have a lifestyle that means we mix with loads of people.
