What Should I Do?
21 Answers
I'm a 20 y/o cashier. I've noticed who comes in here most of the time (regulars) and things like that. About 3-4 months ago this old dude started coming in here frequently to buy literally 1 thing every time he comes in here and whenever he comes to my lane to check out he asks me questions like, "How old are you? Are you single? things like that and later on maybe like a month ago he started to say really pervy gross things to me like, "you are looking tasty today baby so good" and I tried to ignore it but today I was giving him his change back and he tried to grab and caress my hand and I flinched and removed my hand away like really quickly and he was like "see you later." It really grossed me out and that crossed the line. I mean I handled his pervy gross words by simply ignoring him but today he tried to grab my hand. I honestly can't anymore. Should I tell my manager about this like what do I even say to them because I'm seriously getting grossed out and scared...

As the man has gone from, shall we say, flirting, to physical contact it has become more serious. In my opinion the police should know, I agree with rowanwitch.
The next time you see him approaching your 'lane', put your phone on 'record', place it where he cannot see it, and record everything he says and does. You then have your evidence and it will not simply be a case of your word against his. Then take it to your manager who ought to ban the perv from the premises. If your manager does nothing, take it to the police.
