My eldest daughter has tested positive for Covid yesterday.
My middle daughter was with her sister most of Sunday and I spent about 4 hours with my middle daughter yesterday.
Today, middle daughter was told one of her pupils has tested positive so she has had to go and be tested.
If she tests positive too, should I go and be tested or do you wait to see if you have symptoms?
Just get a test done to inform you so you can isolate or put your mind at rest. You can get them from the chemist or if middle daughter is a teacher she'll have access to loads of lateral flow test's and probably as plenty at home
You might have it but not have symptoms and could infect others so its best to get tested. Theres lot's of dropin centres if you'd rather have someone else test you.
Middle daughter does the lateral tests regularly but she had to go for a PCR test.
The first and only time I sent for a test, it took a week to get here!
I haven't even opened it.
Would it be ok to use that one?
I do a lateral flow test every week,we get them from work,if i had been in contact with someone whos positive i would go straight to the testing site in town.
