Double Vaccine On Saturday

Hi there
I am due to have the flu jab and the covid booster at my local vaccination centre on Saturday morning. I have had both before not any major problems at all but never had both at the same time. I know if is safe. How did anyone feel the next couple of days after. The reason I am asking Is I volunteer on a Sunday at a charity shop for 5 hours and it would be really difficult if I felt rough the day after and couldn't go in, for them to get cover, but if I tell them now I might feel rubbish they will probably get cover

I'm having the booster today and wouldn't have the flu jab at the same time if it had been suggested

Sore arm for a day or two with a bit of a bruise but that’s all

I suppose having them both together give2s you more of a chance of a reaction from either.
I've always been lucky in that regard so not fair of me to comment.
But I will anyway ;-)
When I had the flu jab (first time ever) the nurse (she wasn't called that but ...) was telling me there was blood running out of the area she'd put the needle in and warning I'd have a useless arm for the day.
It was fine :-)

I thought there had to be an interval between a flu jab and a covid jab?

No one can tell you how you're going to feel. Some feel no effects to speak of - others are quite poorly.

Just tell them that you are having the double jabs, and that you "might" be unwell. They can plan as they see fit.

If you have both together you don't need to wait 6 months from the second covid: Five I think will do.
But you have to book the Covid jab at the same time I think, whereas I believe the flu jab does not have to be booked

I had my covid booster today and my flu jab separately I felt fine after both.
