Lateral Flow Test

is it easy to do, what is involved as someone wants me and others to take one before
going to their place at the weekend. Do i get one from the chemist?

Easy to do - I did one the other day and yes it’s just the nose one x

its getting the test that seems to be the biggest thing, will go on line and get the code.... then can pop into Boots the nearest chemist to me and sort it out.

One later today, mandatory for the Mater's home - take it, the car and the paper and a sarnie, 30 min wait and then in....

I got them sent in the post - a box of 7 tests. Trying to remember what number I rang.

I picked one up for free from the local chemist. Most of the chemist are giving them away. That's in Wales.

will ring Boots later and ask them if they need a code.

the first ones i got from chemist were just given to me but when i went for some more i was then told they had started the code thing x

will ask them in a while mally... if its a code needed then that's ok

got the code and all sorted in that - annoyingly i have just traipsed around three chemists and they don't have them, so now i have had to go to the NHS Coronavirus website and order them, i hope they get here before saturday.

Shame you didn't ring them first. Much easier than traipsing around. Perhaps ring around others and ask? It's worth a bus/tube ride just to be sure you have it in time.

Boots don't pick up the phone, as i called them when i got home, to ascertain whether they are likely to get any in, i tried them 3 times, no answer.
and i didn't know whether Super drug do them, they don't. so i went to a third round the corner and they didn't have any either.

If all else fails, Emmie, go to the gathering and if questioned later just deny it ever happened.

i did expect Boots to have some, but seems they haven't had any for a while. Will try and ring them again in a while and check
