Strong Nail Stregthener

Is there a nail varnish, something strong like a gel,that l can use on one weak fingernail? All other nails are really strong (but brittle) but this one just bends and won’t grow.

Look up Mavala, it is an excellent product for nails. You used to be able to get it in Boots, but I haven’t used it for years so not sure now.

but the best, is o'keefes working hand cream, put on a cotton pad and rubbed into the nail on a regular basis.

Years ago, on here, someone recommended a horse hoof strengthener. I can't remember who and I can't remember the proper name of the product.

I saw that Tilly2, hoof oil. I have tried Mavala, Sally Hansen, etc and was going to try the hoof oil. I was using Nu-nale which was good, until I discovered o'keefes, which I think is the best and thoroughly recommended...

ignore the fact it's supposed to be for hands, its the ingredients that work their magic.

It was me that recommended Healthy Hoof nail cream...available on Amazon and eBay. It's gone up in price but really worth it. I started using it when working in a kitchen destroyed my nails.

Should say..o'Keefes is good...this is better. A pea sized drop for each hand...nails only...is enough.

I used the o'keefes hand cream, but on my damaged nail (trapped in a door).
Haven't seen an "o'keefes for nails" but had heard the hand cream was good, so used it on the nail, and it has made an amazing difference.

smurfchops please let us know how it goes. It doesn't happen overnight, but regular use, especially after washing your hands, will start to show results.

I use Sally Hansen Moisture Rehap. Paint on once a week and really strengthens weak nails. Available Boots or online

Seriously I have paper thin nails due my medical syndrome. If this works it will be a small miracle.

Good luck with it Lottie! Start with just a tiny bit 2x a day. Massage it really well into the nails. Helps cuticles too.
I just use it about 1 or 2 times a week now. It lasts ages.
